My Favorite Online Shopping Secrets For Earning FREE Money

One of my favorite things is to find ways to save money on things I'm already buying. In this post I will share my top 3 favorite methods that I save/earn a little extra cash each month!

1. Ebates

I know you've probably heard someone talk about Ebates in the past, but it seriously is awesome! You can use Ebates for so many different things: car rental, hotel, makeup, clothes, tax returns, etc. The list is endless! What happens is you go to a website to make a purchase and Ebates gives you a little notification telling you what percentage of cash back you can earn, you click the "Activate" button and then you continue to checkout. At the end of the month, you get an e-mail with the amount of cash back you earned and the option to redeem for a gift card (there's a small bonus for doing this method), or getting a check/direct deposit. YThe past 2 times I have done the gift card method. One was for Ulta Beauty, and the other for Sephora. I can always find something I need in those stores ;). Every once in a while they will offer double cash back on certain websites, which usually ends up being 10-12% back! If you use this -> link <- to sign up, you will get a $10 bonus just for making your first purchase with Ebates. If you use Chrome, I highly suggest you get the Chrome extension. It will make your life so much easier. Here is the LINK for that.

Who doesn't love getting an extra $10-15 dollars back just for doing your regular online shopping :D

2. Retailmenot

This has been my go-to website/app for years! I can't count how many times I've used this app just as I am about to check out at a store. I've received free $10 items at Bath and Body Works, an extra 15% off at Banana Republic Factory, $5 off $15 at Ulta Beauty, and the list goes on and on. If you don't use this app, I highly suggest downloading it for your phone. The nice thing about this is I don't spend time before I go shopping looking for coupons or deals, I just go to the mall or whatever I'm doing and once I realize I'm going to buy something I check to see if that store has any deals going on. Retailmenot actually partners with a lot of stores to give deals that aren't available anywhere else. I use this for online purchases as well. They generally have online coupon codes as well as in store offers.

3. Ibotta

Ibotta is something that I have started doing recently. The thing I don't like about this as much as the previous two I mentioned, is that this one takes more time and energy. I usually look at the offers available for the store I'm going to. I use this mostly for groceries, but I have used it for World Market, and Krispy Kreme! First, I look up Albertson's (or whatever store I'm headed to) and see what things are on my list that match up in the app. Sometimes there will be offers on items that I am going to buy, but a different brand then I would normally get. The offers range from 25 cents to $1.50. I have been using this app for about 3 months now, and I've received $35 cash back. This can either be turned into a gift card, or directly into your bank account. If you want to sign up for Ibotta, you can do so by clicking on this link. This link will get you a $10 bonus!
