Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour

1 Cardinals Dr, Glendale, AZ 85305, USA
Where do I begin with my love for T-Swift?

I remember hearing Taylor Swift's first album in late 2006. I loved it.

In 2007, my family moved to Virginia. I remember reading in the newspaper that she was coming to perform at the Virginia State Fair. I was so excited, and I wanted to go see her. My parents didn't want to go to the fair, so I missed it.

Also in 2007, she performed at Tim’s II Rivershore on the floating stage on the Potomac River. I missed that too.

In 2008, when her second album, Fearless came out, I told my mom we had to go to Target to get the extended edition, the day it came out. I remember walking through Target, getting the CD and being anxious to get home.

I sat on the floor of my bedroom and listened to each song over and over, reading through the album leaflet and looking at the lyrics to each song. I fell in love with each one and was amazed at the ability she had to relate to individual moments in our lives. Fifteen related to be most at the time, and Best Day. These two totally captured how I felt that year.

In 2010, when her third album, Speak Now was announced, I was ECSTATIC. I had just received my driver's license but it wasn't valid until the exact day Speak Now was released. I made a big plan that the first place I drove legally would be to Target to pick up the extended edition of Speak Now. I remember sitting in the SUV of Target's parking lot on cloud 9...listening to each song and enjoying the moment of being 16.5 (legal age to drive in Virginia).

In 2012, when Red was announced, I was in college living in Idaho. My roommates and I planned a trip to the closest Target (30 minutes away). We drove to pick it up, and couldn't wait to get home. I opened the CD, put it in the car and all the way home we jammed out to 22.

In 2014, I couldn't wait to get 1989. I was again in college living in Idaho. I made a special trip to the Target 30 minutes away, and I remember listening to each song on my way to Big Judd’s (a famous burger place). I can still remember driving on the country roads of Idaho listening to "Welcome to New York" and "You are in Love."

In 2015, I wanted to go to one of the shows for the 1989 World Tour. At the time I was living in Arizona doing an internship. During that summer I traveled to Utah for a week and ended up missing the show in Arizona. When I was back in Arizona, she was in Virginia, and when I went home to Virginia, she was in Utah. I just couldn't win. But I vowed next time she did a tour, I HAD to go.

In 2017, when Taylor announced her new album, I again was ecstatic. I went to Target, picked up the extended edition...and since my car no longer has a CD player (whoops), I had to take it home, and plug in my external DVD drive to my computer just to listen to the songs. It would have been easier to buy it on iTunes...but it has been a tradition for me to go to Target, and I love having the physical CD copies of artists that I want to support.

As soon as the tour dates were announced, I earned all the points so I could be first to get my tickets. I ended up getting to buy tickets right when they opened for Glendale and I bought 3 tickets for myself, my sister in law, and her sister in law.

The days and weeks leading up to the tour, I listened to every song. I know every single song, but it was so fun to refresh and listen to even the oldies. We ended up getting some really fun shirts made with lyrics from our favorite song.

The concert itself was amazing. I must admit I got a little emotional a few times when she was on stage. This was a 12-year dream in the making for me, and to hear them live and see her was a dream come true.
