Love & Fourwheeling

St. George, UT, USA
At the beginning of June, my sister flew out to visit me and shoot my best friends wedding in St. George, Utah. It was a scorcher of a day in St. George, but it was perfect for Steven & Aimee. Aimee has been one of my best friends for the last ten years. It was so fun to be there for her big day and to see how happy & beautiful she looked. One of our mutual friends, Briana, and it was good to have the three amigos back together for a little bit.

After the wedding reception, we went to Nielsen's Frozen Custard, one of my favorite places. I used to walk to Nielsen's in the summer when I was in Elementary school and get ice cream, and again when I went to college Nielsen's was one of my favorite places to reward myself for finishing the semester strong.

We met up with my dad the following day, who happened to be in town for work (that's what I call great timing). We were able to go for a long four-wheeler ride in the early morning, have shakes at my favorite diner, and end the night with swimming and pizza. If I were to describe the perfect weekend, this weekend was it, and my heart couldn't have been more full.

Spring in the city of love

Paris, France

We were lucky enough to find SUPER cheap flights to Paris, and by lucky I mean that I spent over a year tracking flights for very specific dates ;). We bought our tickets in early November, and started planning. For a few weeks after we bought them, I would have vivid dreams of being in Paris, and wake up thinking I had already been. What can I say? I was very excited. I had been planning, saving and working towards this goal for 7 years. In the initial planning stages, everything was overwhelming. We started with the Airbnb. I started reading blogs, asking friends who had been, and researching places to eat. I am not much of a history buff, so I was more interested in the nature, architecture and food. I loved being in Paris for the first part of spring. All of the trees and flowers were beginning to bloom, and I was able to capture a beautiful photo of the Eiffel Tower with the Magnolia's in bloom. I will never forget how amazing hot chocolate is in Paris. Waking up in the morning and drinking some hot chocolate with a croissant and fresh orange juice was the best! If you have any questions about my trip, or would like some advice...please message me. I would be more than happy to answer all of your questions. I hope to do a more detailed post on Paris real soon.
