May 2015:
We met my first day working at General Motors. When new employees are hired, HR sends an e-mail out to the whole building with a picture and the school they graduated from. When Kevin got the e-mail with my picture he immediately sent me an e-mail asking if I wanted a tour of the building. I ended up going to his desk and getting a tour. We became good friends. At one point during the summer we watched Sherlock Holmes together and ate brookie's (brownie style cookies). After I left for the summer to finish my final semester of my undergrad, I figured we would never talk again. Throughout my semester at college he would ask how things were going, and what I was up to. Finally the week before graduation, he sent me a text wanting to know if I had accepted any job offers. I told him that I was about to accept the offer with General Motors to move back to Arizona. I never thought I would move back to Arizona, even though I loved the area, but obviously there was a reason ;). From that point forward we texted non-stop. After graduation I moved home for 6 months to spend time with my family before I moved to Arizona permanently. During that time Kevin and I got to know each other really well. We had lots of great conversations and shared many puppy videos. I was anxiously awaiting the time when we would get to spend time together in person once again. I was worried that our cyber friendship wouldn't translate back into a regular relationship. When I made it to Arizona, Kevin offered to bring his drill over to my new apartment. My dad and I had bought a bunch of IKEA furniture and it's pretty difficult to put together without a drill. He came over and dropped off the drill. Kevin had a date planned for us that weekend. We had been anxiously awaiting this date for months. We went to get authentic tacos. After we ate tacos we decided we wanted to make some Nutella pie and watch a movie. From that point forward our relationship continued to grow.

January 16th, 2017:
Kevin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
We had the day off from work so Kevin kept saying that he wanted to go on a sunset hike. I thought that would be fun, but the day sort of got away from us and when he mentioned it again I didn't really want to go. I needed to go grocery shopping, there were things to do to get ready for the work week. He insisted that we go on this hike. He really wanted to see the sunset. We hiked up South Mountain in Phoenix, and at the top you could see the whole valley. The sunset was quite beautiful. As I was taking photos, I noticed in the corner of my eye Kevin was waiting for me to turn around. Once I did, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

April 14th 2017:
We were married for time & all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. I remember the morning of our wedding asking my little brother to make me some oatmeal with cinnamon. My mom was so surprised that I could eat anything. Normally people are so nervous that they can't eat, but I wasn't. I was marrying my best friend, my adventure buddy and the love of my life.
